Rita Hayword, çocukken idolümdü. Ona aşıktım, olağanü güzel, muhteşem kızıl şaçlar, müthiş bir fiziksel güzellik. Gilda en sevdiğim filmidir. Dans edişine, şarkı söylemesine...???, her şeyine bayılırdım. Filmlerinde şarkılarını onun seslendirmediğini duyduğum an yemek yiyordum ve elimdeki kaşığı yere düşürmüştüm. Peh, tam bir yıkım olmuştu benim için. Uzun bir süre küsmüştüm, tavşan dağa küsmüş dağın haberi olmamış misali. Daha onbir yaşındaydım:)
